What's included

Penetration testing and vulnerability scanning

  • Vulnerability scanning

Scans of your internal and external IP addresses to find known weaknesses, prioritised by risk.

  • External and web application testing

Simulated attacks on your internet-facing infrastructure, websites and web applications.

  • Physical testing

An attempt to gain access to a named site and its network, measured against milestones agreed with you in advance.

  • Social engineering testing

A test of how far an attacker could get by targeting your people, by phone, email or in person.

How it works

Clear steps, agreed with you.

  1. Scope

We agree targets, rules of engagement and anything that's out of bounds.

  2. Schedule

We agree dates that suit your operations.

  3. Test

Our testers carry out the agreed work.

  4. Report

A detailed report of what we found, with a prioritised list of fixes.

Why it's worth doing

Insurers, clients and regulators increasingly ask for evidence of testing. A recent test answers the question, and shows you where to spend next.

What's the difference between a vulnerability scan and a penetration test?
A scan is automated and finds known weaknesses across many systems. A penetration test is carried out by a tester who tries to exploit weaknesses and chain them together the way a real attacker would. Most businesses benefit from regular scans and a periodic penetration test.
Will testing disrupt our systems?
Testing is scoped and scheduled with you, with agreed rules of engagement. Anything that could affect live services is agreed in advance.
