Mike founded Incommsec in 2010. It began by supplying connectivity and communications services, and by 2012 it had moved fully into cyber security. Before that, he worked in the Internet Service Provider sector in the early 2000s, as part of management teams that took two businesses through mergers and acquisitions.
He has built Incommsec around two things: vendor partnerships chosen on merit, and a team of specialists with backgrounds in the military and banking, serving clients across the UK and internationally.
Today Mike works directly with finance directors, managing directors and boards. He helps them understand their cyber risk, get fair value from their IT spend, and put clear governance in place.
