What we collect and why
- When you book a call, our booking provider collects your name, email address and any answers you give. We use them to hold the call and follow up.
- When you contact us by email, by phone or through a form on this website, we keep your details and our correspondence so we can respond and manage our relationship with you.
- When you request a Clearview audit, we collect your contact details, company details and the IT spend information you choose to share. Audit data is covered by a mutual non-disclosure agreement and used only for the audit.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Where your data is held
We keep contact and enquiry details in our customer relationship management system, hosted in the EU, and in our business email and file storage. We don't sell your data or share it for marketing.
If you tick the box on one of our forms, we'll also send you Curated, our monthly newsletter, and occasional updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to stop.
How we keep it secure
- Email is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Company devices use full-disk encryption and are protected by passwords or biometrics.
- Sensitive data sent by email is encrypted.
- We use layered malware protection and encrypted cloud backup, and review our security measures regularly.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and prospect data for as long as it's useful to our relationship, and review it regularly. Audit data is returned or deleted on request, in line with our non-disclosure agreement.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email enquiries@incommsec.com and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on this website. Our hosting provider may use essential cookies to deliver the site securely. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. Third-party sites we link to, such as our booking provider, have their own cookie policies.
